U.S. RE AND NCA FORM CLAIMS MANAGEMENT COMPANY
TO SERVE PROPERTY/CASUALTY CARRIERS AND MGAs
Pearl River, NY – U.S. RE Companies, Inc. (USRE), the international financial services and reinsurance brokerage firm, has joined with National Catastrophe Adjusters, Inc. (NCA), a leading national provider of claims administration and underwriting services, to form Blue Hill Claims Management, LLC. Blue Hill will provide claims services to property and casualty carriers and managing general agencies.
The joint venture was announced by Dave Ross, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NCA, and Tal P. Piccione, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The U.S. RE Group.
“We are very excited about our joint venture with U. S. RE. NCA’s 25 years of experience as a leading insurance services provider positions Blue Hill to bring best-of-class solutions to insurance companies and MGAs with catastrophe-exposed business,” Ross said. Based in Indianapolis, NCA has provided claims and underwriting services to regional and national insurance carriers since 1984.
“The joint venture will enable U.S. RE to offer our clients claims administration services through Blue Hill Claims Management backed up by the nation’s leading team of claims specialists at NCA,” Tal Piccione said. “From our end, we will promote Blue Hill’s claims services through U.S. RE’s national and international network,” he added. The U.S. RE Group provides reinsurance brokerage and consulting services to clients worldwide in addition to its activities in underwriting, captive, claims, and risk management, as well as investment banking.
Blue Hill Claims Management will be directed by James C. Pearl, President and Chief Operating Officer of the NCA Group. “Formation of Blue Hill is an important element of NCA’s continued expansion into the TPA market. Combining U.S. RE’s innovative solutions and global footprint with NCA’s claims expertise creates a unique offering to the property and casualty insurance market,” Pearl said.
