U.S. RE Names Newsome Senior Vice President

U.S. RE NAMES NEWSOME SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

Pearl River, NY – Dan J. Newsome, has joined U.S. RE Corporation, the international brokerage subsidiary of U.S. RE Companies, Inc., as Senior Vice President, Tal P. Piccione, Chairman and CEO, announced.

Newsome brings more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of reinsurance to his new assignment. He served six years at Aon RE, Inc. as Vice President-New Business Development and 13 years at American Reinsurance Company where he held various management responsibilities. Earlier, Newsome was Vice President of Intere Intermediaries, Inc. and Home Reinsurance Company.

His extensive experience in treaty reinsurance underwriting, broking, and client relationship management will serve U.S. RE well as we grow,” Piccione said. U.S. RE has recently expanded its domestic brokerage operations and opened new offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Milan, Italy.
