Qualsure Insurance Names MDM Communications as its Public Relations Agency and Media Spokesman

Sarasota, FL - QualSure Insurance Corporation, Florida's recently formed personal lines insurance company, has retained MDM Communications of Naples, FL, to provide public relations and communications services. " MDM will handle media relations and serve as a QualSure spokesman," said Thomas Savage Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of QualSure.

"We'll keep MDM fully advised of developments in order to assure a prompt response to media inquiries concerning hurricanes or other events that affect our policyholders and agents," Mr. Savage stated. Mechlin Moore, President of MDM Communications, will serve as a member of QualSure's hurricane response team.

QualSure began operations earlier this year with homeowners' policies taken out of the Florida Property and Casualty Joint Underwriting Association and the Florida Windstorm Underwriting Association. Later this year QualSure will enter the voluntary market with a new homeowners' product.

Mr. Moore formed MDM Communications in 1991 to provide marketing, public/media relations, editorial, development, and special events management services to clients in the property/casualty insurance industry. Mr. Moore launched the consulting practice after serving for 12 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Insurance Information Institute (III). Prior to joining III, he was Senior Vice President of United Airlines with responsibility for corporate communications, government and public relations, and consumer affairs.
